This Staffing 101 Training Workshop is directed to the new, nearly new, or those staffing industry professionals looking to get a “back to basics” bootcamp. This is a comprehensive one-day deep dive into the wonderful world of staffing. Attendees will work in groups to brainstorm, participate in active conversations, and role-play. Upon completion of this workshop, attendees will be able to execute on the fundamental and core practices in the staffing industry.

Sample topics include:

  • Industry Basics: History, Terms, Workflows
  • Recruiting: Sourcing, Recruitment Plans, Pipelines
  • Screening: Qualifying Candidates Efficiently
  • Interviewing: Uncovering the Candidates Value
  • Customers: Asking the Right Questions, Understanding their Needs
  • Matching: Making a Quality Match, Presenting Candidates
  • Offboarding: Ending Assignments

Speaker:  Rachel Modrak, Staffing eTrainer

Rachel Modrak is a trainer, speaker, and consultant focused on the Staffing Industry. She started her career in 1997 working as a Staffing Assistant at Pomerantz Staffing. Throughout her 17 year tenure with the organization (that later became CoWorx) she played a critical role in the operational strategy, holding positions such as Recruiter, Corporate Trainer, National Recruitment Manager, and Director of Training. She went on to work for global leader Adecco as Vice President of Operations where she supported a $350+ million division providing strategy in the areas of service for large clients, order fulfillment, and associate recruiting and retention. Rachel joined Staffing eTrainer as a Partner in 2018, working with leaders in the Staffing Industry to provide strategic solutions that solve problems by improving strategy, training, and hiring.

Registration Fees:

NYSA Members: $199 per person
Non-Members: $299 per person
Registration fee includes all-day workshop, continental breakfast, sandwich buffet lunch and training book.

Cancellations will be accepted via email by February 24, 2020.
No Refunds after February 24, 2020. No-shows will be billed.
