NYSA's Lobby Day in Albany is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 2022.  In 2019, NYSA members met with over a dozen legislators.  Through this effort, we were able to tell them our story and avoid costly and burdensome legislation passing.  Given the legislature has had some significant turnover in the last few election cycles, it is important for us to meet more legislators and show them the value we bring to NY workers by offering hundreds of thousands of jobs with good wages, flexible schedules and upskilling potential.

Meetings with legislators will start around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in Albany the night before.  All attendees will also be required to attend one Zoom meeting with NYSA's legislative committee and lobbyists prior to Lobby Day to review important legislative topics.

NYSA is recommending the Hilton Albany for overnight accommodations.  The hotel is within walking distance of the Capital and gets booked very quickly.  If you are not able to come up the night before, please plan on arriving prior to 9:00 a.m. on April 26th as the first appointment is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. The meetings wrap up for the day around 3:00 p.m.

All NYSA members are strongly encouraged to participate in this powerful event.  Attendees will receive an education you won't soon forget!  You owe it to your business, the industry and yourself to attend!
