One of the most ambiguous issues facing the staffing industry as a result of the recent “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”, is the definition of a specified service trade or business. Why? This classification has direct impact on the new 20% Pass-Through Deduction available to those entities which are taxed as Sub S, LLC’s and Partnerships or Sole proprietors. Treatment and classification under this broad definition will determine if your organization will be able to fully utilize the new deduction. This important definition will be a key discussion point as our experts help you navigate the Tax Cut and Jobs Act.
