In light of the extraordinary pressures being brought to bear on businesses because of the COVID-19 pandemic, staffing firms should consider how to proactively manage clients that currently are facing (or may very soon face) financial distress. During this webinar, we will discuss how staffing firms can detect warning signs of financial trouble in their clients, how to prepare for the worst at the outset of the client relationship, and how staffing firms may reduce their losses if a client ends up in peril. These issues directly impact your firm's bottom line, and are particularly urgent given the current environment.

This presentation specifically will address the following issues, among others:

  • Spotting and managing financial problems with your clients.
  • Steps to get paid on your outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Issues that arise when a staffing firm is a conduit of funds from the client to a subcontractor.
  • Minimizing "claw back" risks.
  • What to do if the client ends up in bankruptcy.
  • Drafting future client agreements to mitigate insolvency risks.

Speakers:

  • Joel A. Klarreich, Esq., Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP
  • Michael J. Riela, Esq., Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP
